Signs Your FAAC Access Control Installation Is Failing

• Keypad accepts the code but nothing happens. The keypad is usually fine; the failure is on the receiver board inside the operator. The board’s relay is not closing, which means the signal arrives but the operator never hears it.
• Remote works from ten feet but not from the street. The receiver antenna has corroded or broken at the connection point. Texas humidity and heat cycles are rough on the thin copper wire FAAC uses, and we replace these antenna leads regularly in Weatherford.
