Meet the Weatherford Team Behind Vance Gate Repair Weatherford
Vance Gate Repair Weatherford isn’t a rotating cast of subcontractors. The crew you see on your property today is the same crew that shows up next year when your opener needs a seasonal adjustment. We’re a small, tightly run operation under Adrian Vance, built from techs who trained on commercial access-control sites where sloppy work gets flagged by inspection and undone on the contractor’s dime. That habit stuck. The Weatherford team handles everything from a bent driveway gate in Aledo to a full automation retrofit off FM 920, and every one of us carries the same documentation habit: photograph what you found, write down what you did, hand it to the homeowner before you leave.
Our People
Adrian Vance, Owner
Adrian started Vance Gate Repair in 2014 after years wiring commercial access-control systems, the kind where a mislabeled relay means a facility audit failure and a callback at midnight. That background is why every residential gate job here gets the same treatment as a commercial site: written scope, photographed evidence, and a file that stays on record. He still rides along on complicated automation jobs in Weatherford when the motor brand or the gate geometry calls for a second set of eyes. If you call the office after 9 p.m. and someone answers on the second ring, that’s probably him. He’d rather take the call than wake up wondering what happened overnight.
Marcus T., Lead Gate Technician
Marcus has been with Vance since 2017 and handles the bulk of our Weatherford motor and opener diagnostics. He’s the one who can listen to a FAAC operator over speakerphone and tell you whether the capacitor is failing or the limit switch drifted, usually before he’s even pulled into the driveway. Marcus carries manufacturer certifications on LiftMaster and DoorKing equipment, and he’s the reason we keep a bench of rebuilt Viking and Linear boards ready to swap instead of telling customers to replace a motor over a twelve-dollar relay. Off the clock, he rebuilds old arcade cabinets, which is a useful skill when a 15-year-old gate controller needs board-level work instead of a burial.
Dana R., Senior Installer
Dana came to us from commercial fence and gate construction, and she’s the one we put on full installations and heavy structural work in Weatherford and the surrounding county. She’s certified in welding and has installed more cantilever slide gates than anyone else on the crew, which matters on rural properties where the gate run is long and the ground heaves with the seasons. If your new gate needs a concrete pad, a power run, and a motor that won’t fight the wind load, Dana’s the person measuring it twice. She keeps a detailed notebook of every job she’s run since 2019, and she’s the first to say the best install is the one where the gate still swings level three years later.
Elena S., Service Coordinator & Apprentice Tech
Elena is the voice you’ll usually get when you call Vance Gate Repair Weatherford during the day. She’s been with us since 2021 and splits her time between dispatch and field training, which means when she tells you a tech can be there at 2:00, she actually knows how long the current job will take because she’s done it herself. Elena is working through her opener-brand certifications and rides along on access control and photo-eye alignment calls to build her diagnostic time. She also keeps the documentation standard honest: every job file gets checked for photos and a written record before it’s closed, because under the Haven Standard, a job isn’t finished until the homeowner has the evidence in hand.
One Standard, Every Job

The four of us, plus Adrian, run every Weatherford job through the same checklist that governs every Vance location in Texas. Written price before any work starts, handed to you, not spoken. A documented photo record of what was found, what was adjusted, and what was installed, left with you and filed in our job record. A 365-Day Done Right Promise that covers every completed repair or installation for a full year. We don’t ask you to call for a quote after the fact, and we don’t leave a gate until the paperwork matches the work. That’s the Haven Standard, and it’s the only way any of us has ever worked here.
